(Lahore – 4th June 2016) The Convocation of School of Health Sciences Fatima Memorial System was held at the Faletti’s Hotel in Lahore. The School of Health Sciences Fatima Memorial System incorporates the graduates from FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry, FMH Institute of Allied Health Sciences and Saida Waheed FMH College of Nursing. The Convocation consisted of 90 medical graduates, 27 dental graduates, 86 Allied Health Science graduates, 51 Nursing graduates. The graduates achieved a total of 14 Positions and 10 distinctions from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore. The degrees were conferred by the Honorable Chief Guest Maj. Gen (R) Prof. Muhammad Aslam, Vice Chancellor of University of Health Sciences, Lahore. Till date 775 MBBS, 288 BDS, 285 Allied Health Sciences, and 431 nursing students have been graduated from Fatima Memorial System. The students have achieved a total 162 University of Health Sciences Positions and 880 University of Health distinctions thus far. In attendance were Tariq Rehman – Chairman, Board of Management, FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry, Ms. Raheela Ahmad- Guest of Honor / Motivational Speaker, Prof. Rakhshanda Rehman- Dean, School of Health Sciences Fatima Memorial System, Prof. Jamshed Nasir- Principal, FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry, Prof. Nazia Yazdanie – Principal, FMH College of Dentistry, & Professor Abid Ashar – Vice Principal, FMH College of Dentistry, faculty members and graduating students of all three colleges. The convocation is held collectively of FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry, FMH Institute of Allied Health Sciences and Saida Waheed FMH College of Nursing under the umbrella of School of Health Sciences – Fatima Memorial System. The School hopes to promote unity and a sense of kinship through these activities within the human health resource students of its institutions.
