(27 June 2016) An appreciation ceremony was held for the courageous employees of FMH who risked their lives in clearing out a fire in the critical care areas and averted a disaster at Fatima Memorial Hospital. On the night of 23 June 2016 a fire broke out in the corridors of the critical care areas of FMH. Due to the courageous efforts of the staff including on duty doctors, security guards and the nursing the situation was handled efficiently and diligently. In an orderly fashion the patients evacuated and taken to safe areas. By the grace of God, none of the patients suffered any injury due to the re. Dr. Arif Amir Nawaz, Hospital Director and Baber Mansur, Director Operation shared the corrective and preventive efforts that are being taken to avert such an incident in the future. The ceremony ended with the senior management appreciating the efforts of the staff and thanked them for their commitment, dedication and loyalty to the institution.
